Summer Happenings in South Florida
July in south Florida means it’s peak heat season, but that doesn’t mean weekends are just for spending time at the pool or the beach! In this blog post, we’re going to showcase some diverse events happening in our area to demonstrate just how fun south Florida is all year long. Especially with new CDC guidelines and restrictions being lifted, you can grab friends or your family to attend these events with you! Here’s what’s going on in the month of July:
Shakespeare by the Sea
Where: Seabreeze Amphitheater in Jupiter
When: July 8-11 & 15-18 at 8 p.m.
What: For its 31st year, the Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival is hosting a summertime performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream for all ages to attend. Enjoy the theater in the evening when the weather is cooler at this completely free outdoor event! Bringing your own blanket or beach chair is encouraged, and those who attend can also bring their own food or purchase some from participating food trucks. Learn more here.
Sweet Like Summer Pop-Up Shop & Food Truck Festival
Where: The Big Apple Shopping Bazaar in Delray Beach
When: July 10, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
What: If food and shopping are some activities you enjoy, then this event is perfect for you. Come out to spend this Saturday afternoon visiting a wide variety of local vendors and sampling food from trucks with cuisines from around the world. Doobie Brothers Live in Concert
Where: iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach
When: July 17 at 7 p.m.
What: Have you been wanting to “Listen to the Music”? You can this summer! Jam out to old and new classics by the legendary Doobie Brothers on their 50th anniversary tour at this open air arena in West Palm. LauderAle's 7th Anniversary Beer Festival
Where: LauderAle Brewery & Tap Room in Fort Lauderdale
When: July 23-25, various times
What: Here’s an event that’s perfect for adults looking to reconnect with old friends they may not have seen in a while! In this three day weekend event, LauderAle is hosting a four course beer dinner pairing with live music, brunch, a full moon party, beer yoga, and more, all with new and exclusive beer releases throughout the weekend.
